Running fix 45/90

In the previous lesson we used a “running fix by doubling the angle on the bow”.
Another method of plotting a running fix is the 45/90 method.
The difference in the 45/90 method is that the angles used are specifically 45° and 90° from the bow.
These together with the course line form an isosceles triangle – ABC – where the two sides c and b are equal.
Using this method we have a bearing and a distance using only one object.
